Located in the western Sydney suburb of Wentworthville. The Wentworthville Picture Theatre was opened on 15th March 1934. In late-1938, a locally made 3Manual ‘concert’ organ was installed, which was opened by organist Charles Tuckwell on 4th January 1939. Only a year later, on 24th August 1940, organist Les Denley opened the newly installed Wurlitzer 2Manual/7Ranks organ. By 1951, the theatre had been re-named Regent Theatre, and at that time when Richard Hood was resident organist, the instrument was damaged by a fire in the organ blower, and it never played again.
The Regent Theatre was closed on 14th February 1959, and was converted into a retail store, in 2011 a hardware store and by 2017 an Indian supermarket.
