Located in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, the Odeon opened in the early-1950’s. It was re-named Deono Theatre in the 1970’s. It was a single screen movie house playing the Disney movie "The Biscuit Eater" in the early-1970’s.

thanks Chuck1231,I can only get so much off those newspaper ads.I know You and a couple others can finish them.
I lived in North Sydney up until the age of 12. I would walk downtown every day in the hopes of getting free admission to the (at that time) Odeaon. The manager, who knew my dad, would let me “sneak in” after the movie had already started. I seem to recall that the theater was located at Commercial Street, which is the main street in North Sydney. I also enjoyed the Paramount and Vogue theaters located in nearby Sydney.
It Opened Sometime In The Early 1950’s.
The Deono’s address was 236 Commercial Street. The building still stands and is now occupied by a pub and restaurant, The Theatre Pub and Grill, as shown in the current Google Maps view.
