The Cinema I & II opened in 1988 and was later expanded to 6 screens. Seating after the expansion was listed at 796. This was a discount house named the Budget Cinemas North when it closed.
The cinemas closed in 2000 and the building sits vacant. Any further information would be appreciated.

I went Budget Cinema a few times to watch movies. Whenever I was there I always with my best friend who later became my sister. I remember seeing King Ralph there of course with my best friend. I cannot remember any other films I’ve seen there. This was back in the early 90’s.
