American Theater

The Gem Theatre was opened in 1917. Later becoming the Mantis Theatre, its change of name to American Theater dates back to at least 1926. Listed in the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook but not in the 1955 edition.

After closing it was used as a workshop, and was demolished in November 2012.
