The Sunset Theatre was opened by 1951. By 1955 it had been renamed Steve’s Theatre and was still open in 1957. It has been closed for a while. In May 2024 restoration had begun with a view to reopen the Sunset Theatre again.

The theater has a new owner who is planning on renovation. The marquee is lit and auditorium being cleaned. Pictures in photo section from the theater’s Facebook page. Status should be closed, renovating.
