Super Chief Drive-In

The Super Chief Drive-In opened June 7, 1953 with Gary Cooper in “High Noon”. It had a capacity for 642 cars. This drive-in closed in 1984 and has been demolished.

I remember this drive in from my childhood and was hoping to get a photo if what i remember as a pretty impressive sign at the entrance.

The Super Chief Drive-In opened on June 7, 1953, and its opening attraction was HIGH NOON.

Today, the property is the Fort Washington Park & Ride.

The only remnants of the drive-in is the general outline and the entrance road.
