Hammersmith Odeon restored to Art Deco design

LONDON, ENGLAND — With so many glory days since its opening in 1932, it’s hard to believe that the best days of the Eventim Apollo may be ahead of her. But that may be precisely the case after a 5 Million Pound restoration has it looking better than ever. The famed cinema and concert venue most notably remembered as the site of David Bowie’s final show with the Spiders from Mars, has reopened with an ambitious concert slate the rest of the year.

Ride past it every night…looks great through the windows…not convinced about the branding on the marquee…too small in proportion and not very glam…but then again my favourite memories are of it as the Hammersmith Odeon
