List of theaters scheduled to show “The Hobbit” at 48 fps

As mentioned in September, theatres around the world are preparing to show “The Hobbit” at 48 frames per second, a new process for enhanced presentation. If you were wondering where you can catch one of these showings, 48 fps movies has a list.

Aha. This isn’t really film per se. Curious to see how things actually look. More like film? Or, more like video?

Video is like 60fps when viewed on a tv. On Youtube it’s more like 30fps when seen on 480p.

It shouldn’t look like film or video. The idea is to make it look more like life.
