Absolutely. Thanks again Norman. Fantastic collection!

And did I say 10,250 photos? I meant 10,700! CT users added nearly 500 images in the last 24 hours.

Tell you what… Looking at all these great pics on top of uploading all the pics I’ve had sitting on my computer, is really making it difficult for me to get on with the rest of my life! And then what am I gonna do once I’ve posted them all? Guess I’ll have to go out and take some more!

Chomping at the bit to see Norman post some more St. Louis area pics up in here…especially those captured during the 70’s!

Thanks to all for the encouragement. Lauren, I’m enjoying your collection as well. And Chris, I’m getting to my St Louis pics soon.

Norman, Thanks for the great pics. I stumbled across your collection while checking out the BAC Cinema and the French Village Drive-In. Wow! What a fantastic collection. Do you have more pics of the BAC theatres? Cinema, Ritz, Fairview Twin, Miners, Petite 4, etc? Sean

Norman—I loved your pictures. I had to look at them all! Do you have any of the drive-in that was on the St. Charles Rock Road in St. Ann (St. Louis), MO? It had a majorette on the marquee which was preserved for the sign of the shopping center that was built on its site. We lived in St. Ann early in our marriage but moved away 20 years ago—I miss going by that sign!

I wasn’t able to look at all the pictures, by a long shot, but what I saw, I enjoyed a great deal. Thanks for this.

I just posted my early 70’s pic of the Airway DI, but it is not one of my best efforts. The marquee is still there, and I’ll get some better pics of it this weekend.

Thank you, Norman, for helping retrace the tracks of my childhood!

Got any Varsity, Stadium I & II or any other drive-in pics (crossing my fingers for Holiday circa 1976-77) in your archives?

Never mind…I saw the Varsity and Stadium 2 pics. Sure wish I could read the marquee at the Fine Arts (revealing my devilish side!).

Norman: Some of your pictures look to have been swiped from CT and uploaded to the St. Louis Flashback Theatres & Drive-Ins Facebook page. Just thought I’d let you know.
