Old film reels in Oregon

Since I was a small boy I wanted to one day own and run my own cinema. Well, now I have ‘free’ one… in my quite large garage at home for family and friends.
I’ve installed 24 genuine theater seats, projector, 5'x8' screen, two sets of traveler curtains, foot lights and a Hammond organ.
My design theme is simple like the L.A. subway station at Hollywood & Vine; a cinematic layout of old projectors, film reels and photos of movie palaces and great stars.
I’m searching for film reels and want to decorate the walls and ceiling with them along with 35mm unwanted previews laced through them up and down the wallls. Thanks.

What type of old 35mm reels are you looking for? The transit type reels like on the ceiling of the Hollywood & Vine MTA Station. The Standard Goldberg House reels? Or the new standard plastic shipping reels of today? You can find the Goldberg House reels and some plastic shipping reels on Ebay all the time. (under 35mm reels) The old 35mm transit type reels are alittle harder to find, because many of the film depots have trashed them in favor of the plastic ones.
Where in Oregon are you Simon? I’m in Medford and thought if you were nearby I’d like to see your operation.
How ‘bout posting some pictures. I’d like to see your layout.

Any 16mm or 35mm film reels (about two dozen) would be most welcome for decoration -NOT projection use, regardless of condition and preferably free…

I have found my film reels out in the woods of old Drive-ins or slipping into closed up theatres.Usually tossed around everywhere.
