Alternate view of the auditorium.. Shown at grand opening circa 1929. To the left and right of the proscenium, note the cutout for the ventilation at top and speaker horns next as The Cinema was both air conditioned and sound-ready at launch… but being “different” meant taking a stand against sound and, thus, no speakers were placed there at opening.
