Comment - The film opens much as you’d expect, with a wide CinemaScope panorama of the grassy badlands of Arizona, the horizon curving through the ultra wide angle lens on the camera, a lone wolf running through the frame.

Technical - CinemaScope - Improved Lenses were used for photographing Broken Lance & The Egyptian. The difference was startling allowing for improved optical characteristics.
