This new SF cinema will have a first for San Francisco the 4DX®effect system, a ScreenX® multi wall image auditorium and the Regal brand RPX® with a giant curved screen. I think 3 or 4 of the cinema spaces have over 200 seats. A few at 100 and the rest very small. All have motor recliner seats in either black leather look fabric or a orange/tangerine Regal Theatre color. Semi curved screens in each cinema. Probably no curtains these days. Hope they put in black masking on the sides for flat and scope?

New Regal builds usually have no masking or curtains. All screens are flat ratio screens so that image area isn’t lost for scope films, there will just be letterboxing.
A new build opened in my town in 2018 this way.
