It seems Katoomba Theatres Ltd. didn’t find their Leura venture to be financially worthwhile, because after five years they did not renew their lease, and a Mr. Graham – exhibitor at Wallerawang - took over the Leura operation in 1925. He was just one of many showmen over the next 15 years who all had one thing in common – they had trouble making a go of the Masonic Hall as a viable picture show operation.
