Centre Theatre lobby, October 1947. The small rectangular foyer is between the entrance and the foyer. Note the drinking fountain built into the wall between the doors leading into the lobby — and the potted ashtrays. A concession stand (or snack bar) would later take the space on the right. At the opposite end of the lobby is a stairway to the rest rooms. Coming attractions, in addition to The Jolson Story, are Margie (1946), with Jeanne Crain, and Abilene Town (1946), with Randolph Scott. AO, RG 56-11-0-202-4.
