Do to open in late Feb 2020 SF gets a brand new Regal 12 Cinema to replace the tired and ageing old UA Twin Stonestown Theatre. You can see in this photo taken June 4 2019 how close the new luxury cinema will be from the original. Rumor is when they tear down the old cinema a In & Out Burger will take over the spot? The older 2 plex cinema built in the 1970’s then badly split down the middle with the seats going the wrong way and extra small screens plus sound leaking the new Regal 12 will be some great competition in SF for Century/Cinemark & AMC Theatres. The Stonestown mall has plenty of free outdoor parking. Regal was a big theatre player in SF many years ago now under the new owners Cineworld they are coming back with a larger cinema for us to enjoy with Dolby AtmosĀ® and many other new features.
