Shirley Leheny Gregory Can anyone remember the old Cinema hall in Glenroy, every Sat there was a movie and we would go and swap our Comics or swap cards. I think it was 6 pence to get in (or maybe a shilling)and at interval we could buy something, I usually got a Choo Choo bar or a block of Honey Comb. They often had a serial and sometimes I would miss out on the 2nd half if Mum and Dad couldn’t afford for me to go the next week.

Anta Beinerte I remember it well 😃. And the Choo Choo bars and Jaffas. Sat nights the family sometimes went to the pictures there as well.
