Located in the south Melbourne district of Glenhuntly. The Glenhuntly Theatre was opened in 1910. It was later taken over by Hoyts Theatres. It was closed in 1926 and Hoyts opened their New Glenhuntly Theatre at a different location on Glenhuntly Road in 1927.
The original Glenhuntly Theatre was converted into Millers Ballroom. It later became a furniture factory. It had been demolished by the mid-2000’s. Shops have been built on the site - Notes by by Ken Roe
