Mayfair Theatre 170 Thomas Street, Dandenong, VIC – Refurbished in 1952 – Newspaper advert
In 1946 the Boomerang theatre was sold, and then closed for three weeks for refurbishment. It was re-opened as “The Mayfair Theatre” under the control of Mr. Graham S. Slobom with 1000 seats – 1952/53 the theatre is refurbished and given a new look, complete with the latest Gaumont Kalee projection equipment – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
