Hoyts New Malvern Theatre 1 Glenferrie Road, Melbourne, VIC
Located in the south Melbourne suburb of Malvern. The New Malvern Theatre was opened on 1st June 1920 with “The Last of the Mohicans” and a stage prologue “The Spirit of the Movies”. It was built by William Alfred Turner and leased out to Associated Theatres Property Ltd. It was designed by British born architect Lewis Kaberry of the architectural firm Kaberry & Chard.
