Beverley Town Hall and Gardens 142 Vincent Street, Beverley, WA 6304
A new town hall (with a outdoor picture gardens) was built and opened in 1938 -
Screenings began in the Picture Gardens in 1938, and possibly ceased when the Beverley Drive-In opened on 4th May 1966.
Note - The elevated building top right of picture is the projection booth for the picture gardens.
The Beverley Town Hall and Picture Gardens are still there, but no longer screen films(?). The Beverley Town Hall and Gardens have been Heritage listed as the only remaining example of a town hall and gardens in rural Western Australia - Notes by David Coppock
