North Western Drive-in cinema near Birchip was open from 1965 to 1988. Only the skeleton of what used to be is left.

On weekends, there’d often be a queue of cars stretching back a kilometre or more along the road leading to the main entrance, as people travelled from surrounding towns such as Wycheproof, Donald and Sea Lake.
