“The Renown Theatre” Attractions SATURDAY MID MONDAY, MARCH I5 & 17, 1930 – “TANNED LEGS” (talkie) plus Silent Picture: Antonio Moreno in “NAMELESS MEN”. All Talking Feature, All Talking Short*, and Silent support Feature.

“Tanned Legs” A very early talking picture is a 1929 American Pre-Code musical comedy directed by Marshall Neilan and written by Thomas J. Geraghty based on a story by Louis Sarecky. The film starred Ann Pennington, Arthur Lake, June Clyde, Dorothy Revier, Sally Blane. – Arthur Lake went on to become DAGWOOD BUMSTEAD in the Dagwood & Blondie Movies … Note : The theatre was originally known as “The Theatre Renown” later known as “The Renown Theatre” (refer to the photo on this site) – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
