Like the Broadway Theatre, Victoria Park, the Savoy Theatre (located 830 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park) was acquired by Goldfields Pictures in 1946.

Purpose built Picture Gardens were added, approx 1951.

This was built on the same side of Albany Rd, but north of Mint St. The photo shows the Savoy Gardens facade in 1954 –
