The Starlite Dude Ranch Drive-In Theatre launched June 30, 1950 with two westerns, “The Younger Brothers” and “Calgary Stampede.” When it closed for the season for the last time in October 5, 1976, the Dude’s last round-up was the playing of “The Great American Cowboy.” The drive-in would be razed the following March and a K-Mart store replaced the o-zoner.
