Could that be William C Brindley on the right of this group? The strong summer light and the white painted building bring a look of Los Angeles to Darnall. Alas the film titles aren’t legible; some time between the wars looks a likely date.
Apparently, locals referred to the cinema as the “Little Dick”. Was the Darnall Picture Palace the “Big” one?
