These pictures taken 11th October 1934 show the reconstructed and enlarged Court cinema build by Shipman & King at Berkhamsted. Top view shows stage with house curtains closed and Compton Organ raised in front, the organ chambers are concealed by Marine grilles, similar grilles were also featured in other M & E cinema interiors, notably Embassy Braintree, Majestic Reigate and Princess Dagenham. Bottom view taken from circle, house curtains open showing inner festoon curtains and Compton lowered, also viewed are the side wall decorations.
