They did big business the last month showing a 70mm film print of ‘Odyssey’ on the big wide scope screen at the Fox Grand Lake Theatre. Nice that they advertised 70mm on the neon marquee. Not too many movie theatres around the USA have neon letter marquess any more. Some of the ones that still do that have lighted neon signs like the ‘Sony Drafthouse New Mission Theatre’ in SF don’t bother to put up what is playing inside much less that they are showing 70mm even. Thanks to the Grand Lake management that is not ashamed to tell the driving by public what is showing inside plus in the 70mm format. People do notice!
