Notice (i) the speaker enclosure was a ‘triangle-shaped’ design and larger than the typical drive-in speaker. Typically drive-in speakers were narrower and rectangular in shape. (ii) The name “Metro” was on top of the drive speaker.

Further comment. Based on the background, this photo is likely to be taken during the day. Seems pointless to exhibit a film during the day since one cannot view it.
