In 1958 the Palace was purchased and modernised complete with new front area, together with a new adjoining grocery store. This photo was taken during September 1975 showing the altered cinema and added store. The left side cinema board advertises ‘Midnight Cowboy’ while the board on the right gives Bingo information.
