Harry’s son Joseph Henry Reginald Foster (Joe) Mainsbridge [1894-1955] managed the Merrylands Butterfly from its opening in 1921 until 1924, when former Maitland exhibitor Allan Edwin Way took over the lease of the property - which was owned by Emmaville tin miner Albert John St Clair Potter [1883-1957]. Joe Mainsbridge then moved with his mother to Liverpool where he became a racehorse owning publican.
