It is not clear why in September 1929 the president of the Merrylands Chamber of Commerce thinks he has a ‘right’ to know when Mr Beszant was going to install sound - but it is good to know there was interest in the topic. He was replaced by a Mr. Porter from Guildford. Projectionist at this time was Richard Proudfoot.
