When Fred Buchanan and his Ingersoll and Bijou theaters worked in “Kinidrome” moving image films , it set of a dot.com boom in cities like Des Moines accepting of the new medium. The Nickeldom (1906-1908) and mentioned in this ad would get competition just in Des Moines from the Jewell, Radium, Colonial, Lyric Mirror, and Win theaters. With just $150, you, too, can own a theater as it states here in this 1907 movie gold rush ad.
