Regal cinema opening 18th July 1932. Built by T.Elvins & Sons of Birmingham being their twentieth cinema to date for Lichfield Cinemas Ltd., Directors were Regal Architect Harold Seymour Scott, George Elvins and Reginald Fort who was Managing Director. Baxter & Impey supplied and installed all lighting for the interior and exterior neon lighting, Simplex projectors by Frank Brockliss and seating, carpets and stage curtains supplied by W. W. Turner.
