The genesis of the Cozy Theatre was the Cozy Tent Theatre which opened July 4, 1924. It then moved to a spot on Broadway with roof and 512 seats. G.A. Peterson decided to build a brand new Cozy Theatre replacing this one. The original hardtop Cozy likely became the Watt Theatre.
