We were all disappointed the co people ‘American Cinematheque’ that run the the new Egyptian on the weekends did not bother to use the new blue curtains for our 35mm double feature of two Cremaster movies. They lost out on refreshment counter money by not having a brief intermission. They just sat on a boring slide for 30 minutes before the movie started. Seems after talking to manager type type people in the lobby the Netflik guys use the curtains and blue lights all the time during the week. It’s too bad AC only uses them a few times. They have now showmanship. Will have to go see a movie during the week next time I guess.
