Ant Damen on Facebook - When cash converters moved in they found a heap of old theatre equipment upstairs. Projectors and lights etc. The threw it all out!

Christine Menegazzo on facebook - It was the Palais Theatre in Werribee. Built 1920’s. In the 60’s would watch movies in there. Then later on no movies but have dances in there. I think Blue Echoes even played for our Youth Club in there. We also had big dances at Centenary Hall.

Annie Daley on Facebook - Just down from the railway station. Went to the pictures there many times in the 1950’s when first married and lived in the railway house just over the walkway in Manley street.
