Photograph showing the very modern Embassy Restaurant and Café entirely designed and painted by Eugene Mollo. The carpet design was ‘Palma’ all Mollo’s carpet designs were named. The Chromium-Plated steel furniture was manufactured by Metal Furniture Works Ltd., Stratford-on-Avon and covered in a stylized Zebra fabric whilst the table tops were in black Vitrolite. Mollo & Egan replicated this design at the ‘Regent’ Horley, 5th April 1935, ‘Embassy’ Braintree, 8th April 1935, ‘Majestic’ Reigate, 14th October 1935 and ‘Embassy’ Petts Wood 12th October 1936.
