Henry Sparks operated the Cooper Grand, Jem, Delta but the Sparks Theater was the longest-lasting of the city’s theater staying in the Sparks move exhibition portfolio until the mid-1970s. Drastic population loss in Delta County was cited as the reason for closing the Sparks.
