It’s March 24, 1950 and time for the grand opening of the Tri-State Drive-In Theater showing its first feature, “Canadian Pacific.” Not sure about the line, “Don’t bother to dress” but understand the sentiment.

Note that this was the (second) season-opener, not the Grand Opening. The mention of “Our Improved Snackbar” was a clue.
