The first resident organist was Reginald Liversidge who was well known in his own right: around thirty of his performances on the Pyramid organ were broadcast over the radio. He had previously been a resident organist at the Ambassador Super Cinema in Salford and prior to that a well known Cinema Organist from the Astoria Super Cinema, London and the Savoy Super Cinema, Bradford.
