View from the projection booth of the Ritz Theatre in Carteret NJ taken 12/17/14. Dark for a month shy of a half century, the venue is in the earliest stages of a 2+ year renovation into a performing arts center. The sand was used as a base for the leveled concrete floor that has been removed, the cables hanging loose until recently carried the drop ceiling from its days as a wholesale bakery.
