Detailed drawing of Majestic foyer by Eugene Mollo who was responsible for the interior design of the Majestic. The large space type chrome ceiling lights here and in the auditorium were a bold venture for Mollo who generally favoured indirect lighting and wrote many articles on this subject in cinema trade papers during the 1930’s This lighting design was also used in one other auditorium of Mollo & Egan the Carlton cinema Dublin. By 1937 & 1938 they were responsible for 30 cinema interiors a year!!!
