This cinema closed with the showing of the first film it ever showed, “The Hurricane”, not the one listed in the write up! (I should know, I was there.). The film reel nearly didn’t get there in time, as it was delayed by Customs Officers at Heathrow. We have the original opening night program, which was from my Great Uncles' visit to the State when the film was first screened.
