Grand opening for the Cherokee Theatre later the Capri as it opens with the great, “Libeled Lady” November 20, 1936. On January 10, 1970, “A Fistful of Dollars” closed out the namesake of the Cherokee. The Stewart-Everette Theatre Circuit decided to remodel the theater and relaunched one month later with “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.”
