Here are some ads for The Mirror’s immediate predecessor, The Ritz Theater. The Pantages switched names moving the theater from a live vaudeville-centric house to the nation’s first second-run Vitaphone house. It started with “Lights of New York” and would become part of the Robb & Rowley (R&R) circuit. And at the very end, as the countdown to December 6, 1931’s temporary closure to become the Mirror, it was a Hughes-Franklin Circuit theater. Its last show as the Ritz was “Personal Maid.”
