Colorized 1929 photo towards the stage from the Stalls. The proscenium curtain is of heavy crimson velour, with gold enrichment, fringes and tassels. The pelmet is draped from a huge Louis XV crown over the center of the arch. Proscenium width is 37 feet – sadly, not well suited to widescreen film presentation. There are no side boxes.
