Metro Theatre Bree Street, Johannesburg Streetscape - From 1932 to 1972 it was South Africa’s biggest cinema.
Sadly this magnificent cinema was closed in the 1970’s with the rise in popularity of multi-screen complexes which had become the fashion - Notes by John Ferreira.
