City Island Theatre

This theatre at the time of this photo was run by my grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Schiraldi. Clara Sapone worked for him as well as my grandmother, mom and dad. I was a baby in 1977 and we have this photo in our house. My grandfather had this sign put up at the time of this photo because the movie “ROCKY” was promised and paid for and never was delivered. This location is now an IGA on City Island. My parents still have some of the Lobby Cards from this theatre as well as the American Graffiti poster.
