Kearney Drive In Theatre, Located in Kearney Nebraska On Avenue N @ E. 28th Street. E. 28th Street dead-ends into the driveway of the Theatre. This Theatre hold approximately 400 cars. It is open seasonally. The Man who runs it was real nice in letting US have a look around for some photos. The Drive In opened in 1950. Altho, it is still open, there is talk of it closing!!! UPDATE - Sadly the Drive In suffered damage from a storm that had came thru back in 2008. CEC’s Landlord decided not to rebuild & closed the Drive In that had been open for some 58 years. Today, nothing remains of this Drive In Theatre.. Photo Taken: November 5 2007 Photo Taken By: Randy A.
